Traci Chalk began designing jewelry in March 2001. For the previous ten years she worked as an elementary school teacher. In February 2001 her first child, Grayson Rae, was born and she left her teaching job to stay home with her daughter. Traci has always had a desire to use her creativity in the fashion industry and staying home gave her the perfect opportunity to do so. One month after the birth of her daughter the jewelry company Gracie Rae Designs was born.

Traci started out by designing unique and creative jewelry pieces for herself, but it quickly turned into much more. People began noticing her jewelry and she began making pieces for friends and family. She created the company and started to have jewelry parties. The parties drew in many customers, which allowed Traci to get her name out in public. The company has continued to grow with the Gracie Rae name coming to represent excellent quality and customer satisfaction.

Each piece of jewelry is hand-crafted and designed by Traci. Her jewelry is designed to reflect your personality and all of your moods. From sexy to smart, sophisticated to playful, her handmade jewelry collection has something to suit your personal style. What makes her collection unique is that each piece can be worn either casually or dressy. She wants the jewelry to make a statement about each person who wears it and that is why it is designed to reflect your personality. Each piece of jewelry that she creates is an expression of her belief that your jewelry should be the centerpiece of your outfit.
